As a Canadian, I need my NHL scores fix as I am (of course) in a hockey pool... So these are some free apps which I personally enjoy using to get my NHL fix.. None of these have CFL scores yet but it's still early....
ESPN ScoreCenter
- A lot of leagues from around the world can be found in the ESPN ScoreCenter App. Provide glance-and-go score board for your favourite teams on a given night.
- downside for Canadians is that CFL is no where to be found.

TuneIn Radio
- Technically not a sports app but contains a lot of local Canadian radio stations including the TEAM network set of radio stations which should mean that you can get that feed to your favourite NHL game, CFL games, MLB, MLS games as it seems like the TEAM radio stations is broadcasting pretty much everything sports related now-a-days. Should be great news for you overseas Canadians looking for a radio feed on your WP7 phone.
Pro Sports Scores
- lightning fast, quick game stats.. not much in terms of news or standings. Not as feature rich as the Score Mobile App but still my personal favourite if I need to the score right now. No CFL yet.. Live tile coming soon... FREE!
Score Mobile App
- league news, standings, scores, game stats, limited play-by-play. Able to mark favourite teams, etc...
Sports Scores Apps
Note that I did not include the CBC hockey scores app. I find it way too slow.. I was check m.tsn.ca over the CBC hockey scores app..it's just pretty bad...
