Windows Phone 7 "NoDo" Update Imminent??

Looks like the Windows Phone 7 "NoDo" update is coming very very soon to your WP7 device.

Microsoft had just released the Windows Phone Developer Tools update.  Copy and Paste is added to the emulator so that's definitely in.  Besides the performance enhancements to speed up the booting of some games (graphically intensive games), there really is no word on what else this "NoDo" update brings..

Still no word on when the public release is available..  February 7 is a rumoured date but I am a little bit skeptical about that date.  If MS is taking a page from the way they handle Xbox360 updates, I still think that they are going to announce the "go live" date for the Windows Phone 7 update...

This is taking from the Microsoft's AppHub development website:

The Windows Phone Developer Tools January 2011 Update is now available to download. The latest update includes an update to the Windows Phone Emulator to support copy/paste functionality, and a fix for a text selection bug in pivot and panorama controls. The update also includes all of the updates from the Windows Phone Developer Tools October 2010 Update, including the Bing Maps for Windows Phone Silverlight Control, the Windows Phone Connect Tool that supports phone unlocking, and the Windows Phone Capability Detection Tool.

Alert: Windows Phone 7 users who copy text in text boxes that are inside pivot or panorama controls can unintentionally change panes. If your published apps have text boxes in these locations, you must recompile the apps and resubmit them to the Windows Phone Marketplace. To prevent this error in new applications, don’t put text boxes inside pivot or panorama controls.

Read the release notes for more information.
Windows Phone 7 users will get the new cut/paste functionality in a planned OS update.
